Q: How to stop 90s Honda Accord leaking in trunk and rear passenger side floor?
I have a 1990 Honda Accord (similar to 89-93 Accords) and it is very wet in the trunk and the rear passenger-side floor?
When is it leaking from? The door/window seals seam fine. Has anyone else had this problem?
A: Feel around the trunk and see which section is wettest. My guess is it will probably be right around one of the tail lights. If yes, you can pull the whole light assembly off and see if the gasket is damaged. You will probably need to replace it. If enough water is getting in through the trunk it can easily work it’s way to the passenger compartment.
Q: How difficult is replacing the evaporator condenser on a 2002 Honda Accord?
I am in between buying an 2002 Honda Accord. Just got approval for loan and the owner tells me engine light came on. Took to Honda dealer and had a test ran. It was the evaporator condenser. I have no idea what this does. Looked it up. A/C and heating. Okay. $200 to fix there at dealer. Is this worth fixing? Or is it something can be done on own, with little to no difficulties?
A: AC evaps and condensers are not tested to show on the engine light, be very careful on this because it sounds messed up. engine lights show sensor faults only. The only way a condensor would cause a engine light to come on is if the fan did not work and allowed the vehicle to overheat, which would set a fault for temp too high not evap bad.
Q: honda accord .?
hi i have a 1995 honda accord 2.2 v-tec f22b1. i noticed that i was leakin coolant and i crawled under the car to see where it was coming from. i found a “hole” in the back of the block next to the timing belt cover. it wasnt like a real hole. it was like a hollow nipple that was sticking out. i looked in at and there where no thread marks. so i tapped it out and put in a bolt. about 2 mins later i heard a dripping noise. so i looked and now it is leaking from about 2″ above the bolt that i inserted in a divet. is this supposed to be there?
A: Water pump? Sounds like you plugged the weep hole which is supposed to be there so you know the pump is bad because fluid starts dripping out.
Q: How do I replace the Brakelight cover on my Honda Accord?
So this weekend I backed into a tree and scratched the back bumper and cracked the brakelight cover a little. I don’t want to pay someone to replace it for me but I don’t know how to get another one or how to do it myself. It’s a 2002 Honda Accord LX. If I go down to the local Knechts will they be able to get me a replacement?
A: Go on Ebay for the cheapest replacement. As far as installing it, that is super easy. Pull the carpeting back from inside the trunk. Remove all of the bulb sockets and the screws holding the lense in. The entire housing should just come right out. Insert the new one and reverse…
Q: What kind of system should I get for my 2002 Honda Accord?
I have a 2002 Honda Accord and I need help finding a good system for it. I want a little bump but not trunk rattling constantly. My friend told me either 2 – 12’s or maybe 2 10’s. I also need to know of any good decks to get put in my car as well. Any ideas how much this will cost? I live in Houston Texas if that helps any.
A: it depends on what you listen to. 12’s are good for rap because of their abality to hit low. 10″s are good for rock and techno, for their ability to respond quickly to rapid fire bass. 2 desent 12’s will run you about 150 and 10’s about 120. use a pioneer headunit, they can handel bass without skipping. also with the trunk, if it vibrates screw out the black screws on the lid. most of the time the license plate rattels if so use a little dynomat. hope this helps

Q: How do you remove fog light grilles on a 2002 Honda Accord?

Q: How to get gas out of 2001 Honda Accord?
I need to know how to drain gas out of a 2001 Honda Accord, there is an anti-siphon valve so that is not an option and I dont think there is a plug in the bottom of the gas-tank.
A: there is no plug in the bottom of the tank, either need to drop the tank or else disconnect the fuel line and let the fuel pump do its job in a gas can
Q: What type of rims would you recommend for a 95 Honda Accord LX?

Q: Can I put a supercharger on a completely stock 1996 honda accord?
Can I put a supercharger on a completely stock 1996 honda accord?
Would it be safe? meaning will it not mess up the rest of my engine? where can i get one? and what brand is the best and less expensive?
A: No, a stock engine from 1996 will have much weaker internal parts compared to a newer car like a 2007+. Your basically forcing more air into the combustion chamber to create more power, since your creating more power your engine must also be able to handle the power and the only way is to pull that motor out and start rebuilding it on the inside with stronger aftermarket parts.
So, unless you want to see a hole get blown open on your head, I suggest you rebuild the motor or find a different car.
Here’s a YouTube vid on what can happen if you throw something like NOS, a turbo or supercharger in your car and the engine can’t handle it:

You need to do A LOT more research before thinking about such a power upgrade.
Q: cheapest way to fix a slip 2000 honda accord?
I have a 2000 Honda Accord 4dr Auto, Its slipping. Is there any reasonable way to fix the problem or way to keep it from getting worst, besides getting another transmission. Please help me?
A: you’ll have to get the transmission fixed because there is no easy way to fix it at the moment. there is no tranny filter to replace and because 98-02 accord transmissions are so sensitive, adding anything but honda ATF can be harmful. basically, you’ll have to take it to a shop to get rebuilt. One way to prevent it from failing again is to get a truck size transmission cooler.
Q: How to change Idle Air Control Valve on a 2000 Honda Accord V6?
I have a 2000 Honda Accord EX V6. I tried to replace the IACV today but there’s just too many things in the way. I was wondering if anyone can give me some suggestions on how to change the IACV. Thanks a lot!
A: Take it to honda and let them do it
Q: my honda accord is makin some irritating noise while running?
my honda accord is makin some irritating noise while running, but when i hit the brakes, or even touch the brakes the sound is gone. some times, ABS light comes up tooo. its a 97 ex. 5 spd. manual.
A: What kind of noise?
If its a squeeking or grinding noise it could be time for new brake pads, if they are worn to much the internal rivets that hold the pat together could make contact with the rotor cause major damage and requiring you to get new rotors as well.
Based on the ABS light it could also be that you are just low on brake fluid or your brake pump is going out.
Q: How long can a honda accord last with 224,000 miles?
One of my aunts friends was really generous and gave to me for a free a 1994 honda accord EX with 224,000 miles. I will be using it to go to school and commuting. It runs really well and is in excellent condition considering the miles. When i got it i had to replace the water pump and oil change. How long does these cars last for? Many of my friends are saying the car is at the end of its life
A: personally i have had a 85 honda dx which we drove to about 300k miles before it blew the original motor, nissans, mazda and hondas are noted for being able to run good for high miles, if you don’t get a good enough answer on here talk to a local mechanic
Q: After how many miles should you change the stock coil springs in a 99 honda accord?
I bought a 99 honda accord and the body has 153k miles on it. The shocks and struts are completely blown and very likely have been for years. Should I change the original coil springs as well or would they not be worn yet?
A: Well It should be useful. http://milanstreet.info/51565/coil-spring
