Q: Volvo XC60?
when does the Volvo XC60 get released?
is it really spring 2009?

A: Yes, as far as I have heard, it is scheduled for a 2009 release. Although, the Swedes don’t typically run all their important decisions past me, so that could change. But for now, ‘09 is it.

Q: Where are the volvo xc60 feature fan rankings?
I have looked everywhere and cannot find the list of fan ranking for the Volvo XC60 for the What Drives Edward contest… Can anyone point me in the right direction?

A: Game section.

Q: Where exactly do you find the fan feature rankings for the volvo xc60?
I looked over the volvo website but I couldn’t find a list or anything
Thanks for the answers!

A: www.volvo.com

Q: Is the 2011 Volvo XC60 navigation system as bad to operate as all the reviews state?
Reviews say that among other bad things you need a remote to enter data by cycling through the alphabet.

A: I don’t think is as bad as they describe it. Be cautious with reviews, better test by yourself. What some people find difficult others would see as easy as 1.2.3.

Q: Is the Volvo XC60 difficult to park?
Everyone goes on about the S60 being hard to park because it has a big turning circle but the Volvo XC60’s turning circle is slightly bigger.

Is the XC60 easier to park than an S60 and if so, is that because of the higher seating position?

A: doubt it, I have had my permit for only 3 monthes and i drive an XC90 which is bigger and I am a decent parker

Im assuming You have been driving longer than I have, so I dont think you will have trouble, and even if you do have trouble at first, you will get used to parking it eventually.

Q: What are the top ten volvo xc60 features?
This is for the what drives edward contest, I can not find it anywhere!

A: There are too many to list.

Q: What drives Edward Contest to win a volvo XC60?
I am stuck on two of the phases, the first one is the phrase scramble, someone please help me or point me in the right direction… and then is there a trick or a certain way to get through the maze of people for the 3rd phase?

A: The car drives Edward.

Q: Is the 2010 volvo xc60 a reliable car?
im thinking about purchasing one.
but all i am hearing is very bad reviews on it.
have the new 2010 volvo’s changed in reliability?

A: to new to find out for the long run however I would never buy a car in the first year of production

Q: How does the standard 8 speaker stereo in a Volvo XC60 sound? (This is the one without the navigation)?

A: For the most part the Volvo system has a pretty decent sound. You will find that the tweeters are a bit lacking in performance, but overall the system sounds good enough for most music.

Q: What’s a better Value for your money, a Volvo XC60, Audi A4, or Acura TL? Also is the XC60 suitable for young?
People I meant to say, or are Volvos for a more older crowd?

Thanks

A: I would definitely say the acura tl. Hondas and Acuras are very long lasting and the TL is very roomy (perfect for kids).

Q: Do you think that the all new VOLVO SUV XC60 gonna rock?
The volvo suv is upto.Do you think that it will make a note?

A: Hells yeh the XC60 is class! The transmission on it couldnt be better! Its got a whole bunch of new features from Volvo like a engine just as powerfull as the S80 but lighter and plus new shitfting mechanisms…

its gonna rock yo socks!

Q: Rank these features of the volvo XC60 according to fans opinions- what drives edward?
Blindspot info system
active bending headlamps
power tailgate
high performance sound system
whiplash protection
City safety
rear park assist
panoramic roof

this is for the What drives edward comp, and i know people have already asked this, but the options are different

A: .

Q: where do fans go to rank the volvo xc60?
i need to find where the fans go to rank the features of the volvo xc60?

A: Consumers Guide is a good one.

Q: all i wanna know is can the 2010 Volvo XC60 T6. ARV drive in icy snow?
I’m wondering if it has a 4×4 for like the snow time. Where I’m from it’s almost time to snow and my both my parents want me to get a truck or something that has like a 4×4. I’ve looked at the site for the Volvo but still no info. Help please and thank you.

A: Any car can be driven in snow.

Q: WHat is the song in the volvo xc60 commercial?
Nott the one where the people float up to the car..
the one with the elephants

Find great deals and more information about the Volkswagen Tiguan! At your favorite automotive site CarzUnlimited.com

Q: Volkswagen tiguan or toyota rav4?
what would u chose?would u chose the tiguan just because it is a vw?

A: I would choose the Subaru Forester or Honda CR-V, but if you already have made up your mind between these 2, then I would go with the RAV4.

I would NOT choose the Tiguan because it is a VW.

Q: 2010 Volkswagen Tiguan – Wolfsburg Trim?
I’m about to turn 16 and for a car to get, I’m really interested in the 2010 Volkswagen Tiguan in the Wolfsburg Trim (the median between the basic Tiguan and the totally decked out Tiguan). I don’t know anyone with a Tiguan so I haven’t heard opinions about it other than on the internet. Does anyone have opinions about it? bad or good? And also, does anyone know what the buttons on the steering wheel are? I can’t see from any of the pictures I’ve seen.

A: Its the best in its class. Its very comfortable on tarmac and very capable off-road. It has parking assist, bluetooth, etc. as standard(depending on your country). Good leg room inside, ergonomic seats good for long drives. Much better than Honda CR-V and Suzuki Grand Vitara.

The buttons on the steering wheel are for volume up and down, answer call using bluetooth connection to your phone and directional buttons to toggle up and down and select from the dashboard options.

Q: Volkswagen Tiguan vs. Nissan Rogue?
I have my learner’s permit and will be getting my driver’s liscene on March 4th of 2009. We’ve been talking to many dealers working our way down a long list of cars (all of them small SUVs or SUV crossovers) and the two that we’re interested in getting for me is either the Volkswagen Tiguan with all of the special features or the Nissan Rogue with the highest package available.

Does anyone have experience with both or is very knowledgeable with both and can recommend one to me? What are your experiences with owning one? Are there any comments about one of them that I should heed?

A: Consumer reports doesn’t recommend Volkswagen automobiles because of poor reliability and dealer service. I would pass over their vehicles for both these reasons.

Q: Which car is better/hotter> Audi 5Q Or Volkswagen Tiguan sport?
Which car is better and hotter?????

Audi 5Q in phantom black pearl effect:

http://www.audi.co.uk/audi/uk/en2/new_cars/q5/gallery/360_exterior_view.html

Or Volkswagen Tiguan sport in deep-black pear effect:

http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/#/new/tiguan/explore/experience/drive/

what do u think? =)

A: I think that the Audi Q5 Is Better/”Hotter”

Q: Buying a new car, but undecided: Honda Fit or Volkswagen Tiguan?
I’m a college student buying her first car, and I’m trying to figure out which one is the best for me. I’m originally from New York, but I go to school in Los Angeles, and after two years of using the very slow and buggy Metro and asking my car-wielding friends for favors, I’m ready to have my own. The thing is, I do a lot of random stuff, so I’d like a car that can either hold 5 people, or hold a decent sized piece of furniture; I don’t need to have both. Price isn’t a big issue. What is is that I only learned how to drive last year, and I need a car that is fairly easy to work with (no huge blind spots, etc). I had done my research, and the Honda Fit kept popping up so I had settled on that, but I recently discovered the Volkswagen Tiguan. Since it’s so new, there’s not a lot of info on the internet about it and I can’t compare the two too much. Therefore, I open the question up to you, internet denizens who probably know a lot more about cars than I: Fit or Tiguan?

A: Those are two WAY different cars; the Tiguan is more like a Rav4 or CRV than a Fit.

I used to work for VW and I’d strongly advise AGAINST buying a VW the first year it’s out… VW’s tend to go to market with a lot more problems than Japanese cars do. The fit would be *way* more reliable and better on gas.

Q: Which is best for a first time driver, Honda CRV, Rav4, Volkswagen Tiguan, Nissan Rogue or Buick Enclave?
Feature-wise, fuel economy, speed and off roads.

A: the first two, you would be pretty insane to take off road.
Honestly, the Buick Enclave looks like the nicest crossover out of your selections. The volkswagen and the Nissan look kinda cheap on the interior. I know VW is awesome sometimes, but I don’t really trust them. If I had to choose between those two, I guess I would go with the Tiguan as it is minimalist… less confusing… they all have comparable features, I think that vw has a few more, like heatable sideviews and a backup camera, however these may just be options.
They all have similar gas mileage as well… I think you should rule out the rogue and pick between the Tiguan and the Enclave.
IMO of course.
Thanks.

Q: Volkswagen Tiguan or Acura RDX?
The RDX is a bit more about 100 dollars more A MONTH when financing for 60 months. Is it worth it in the long run? Because I have read that VW are not as strong with the reliability and the maintenance is expensive. Also according to J.D. power it has poor to satisfactory dependability rating. Please voice your opinion, its my first car purchase.

A: Get a mazda 3.

Q: What do you think of the Volkswagen Tiguan? How would you rate it? 1-10?
Does it hold a child’s car seat good?

Are the back passengers comfortable in the back?

Does it drive smooth?

Does it have enough power to merge onto the freeway?

Is the MPG good?

A: i would give it a 15. yeah, it’s that amazing. my mom is leasing one right now. it is so hard to get me out of that thing. it’s a 6 speed automatic and it shifts and drives so well. it gets around 25 mpg when i drive. yes, i use that computer thing. the back is huge and comfortable. i love manual vehicles but this thing, i had a hard time believing that it’s an automatic. this baby is GREAT on the highway. if you have the means to get one, do it. i love this car. now i want to go for a drive. lol. it has this thing called ESP which is great for handling. you can feel the difference from other SUVs without it. it literally grips the road.

Q: Is the 2010 Volkswagen Tiguan reliable?
JD power & associates only gave it 2.5 stars and im wondering if I should buy it or not.
Thanks

A: I do not own a Tig, but I do have the same engine, transmission , etc. in my ‘05 VW GTI.
This is a 2.0 litre, turbocharged, direct-injection engine.
I have not had one single issue with the engine; or the entire car for that matter. Best car I have ever owned.
Consumer Reports Magazine says that the Tiguan is a “Recommended Buy”. Owner Satisfaction is rated ‘High’. They also report that the handling is agile and secure. Engine is smooth and punchy. Excellent fit and finish. I trust CR magazine; have based my car buying info on them for years.
I also trust VW. After having ‘teething problems ‘ with the Toureg, they have gotten the Tiguan problem free right at the start.
I drove a Tig for a day. Enjoyed it immensely. Wife liked it too. But we are not SUV people.
But if we were, we would definately buy a Tig!

Q: Acura RDX or Volkswagen Tiguan?
The RDX is a bit more about 100 dollars more A MONTH when financing for 60 months. Is it worth it in the long run? Because I have read that VW are not as strong with the reliability and the maintenance is expensive. Also according to J.D. power it has poor to satisfactory dependability rating. Please voice your opinion, its my first car purchase.

A: The Acura RDX SH-AWD is an entry luxury crossover SUV. The VW Tiguan AWD is a Light Duty Vehicle and is more economical.

The tiguan has more cargo room and delivers better fuel economy comparing to the Acura RDX (Sport Utility Vehicle). The ride comfort is also better on the VW due to lack of sport suspensions.

The RDX however has more sports tuned rear suspension and the SH-AWD system is more performance oriented in acceleration and hard turning. The RDX has a bigger turbo charged engine delivering 240hp and 260ftp of torque vs VW 200hp and 207ftp of torque. The 0-60 time for the RDX is about a second quicker (6.4s).

Also since the Tiguan is not a luxury car it is cheaper. So your choice depends on whether you want luxury and performance or practicality and value.

According to JD powers, the RDX has a reliability score of 7/10 vs Tiguan’s 5/10 reliability rating posted on rankingsandreviews.com

Q: volkswagen tiguan! comments please, convince me to purchase? or not? ?
between vw tiguan, or the nissan rogue?

A: None of these are very good cars. And I say this because they are both terribly over-engineered. They are front heavy and front wheel drive. A bad combination for great driving performance. But for every day use it would be fine.

FWD has terrible handling dynamics. there is a limitation to how much power you can send to the front wheels. The automakers put poor mans traction control to prevent the outer wheel from spinning while turning and accelerating at the same time. They had to do this as a requirement to putting in bigger engines over the years.

Torque steer is a significant problem with these designs. When making a right turn or when pulling out of a parking lot and onto the street for example. The wheels will want to spin even under low throttle acceleration.

The best car designs overall would be cars from the 1960s with full body on chassis. RWD and a live rear axle and little electronical components that will break and leave you stranded. Very easy to work on. Very easy to troubleshoot. Very cheap to keep running once it reaches at least 5 years of age. Carburetors, points and rotors, no computers.

For a modern car there is nothing wrong with leasing. But once the car becomes 6 to 10 years old it becomes cheaper to lease a modern car than to keep one running by the monthly repairs that it will need. In other words, don’t buy a modern car. Especially if it’s an American car or a Volkswagen/Audi. If you are gonna buy a modern car it should be a Toyota, Subaru or a Honda but not a Nissan.

On the bright side. Automakers are now offering more RWD options. AWD is good depending on who makes it. FWD based AWD is pretty pointless. But BMW and Porsche do make good RWD based AWD. And Subaru has symmetrical AWD which is the best AWD that there is.

Before you buy. Consider getting a Subaru Tribeca.

Q: Nissan Murano or Volkswagen Tiguan?
out of the two, which one should I buy?? please list why i should buy that car. thanks for the answers
my third choice is the Jeep Grand Cherokee

A: for one, you dont want to buy a jeep. they are very unreliable vehicles. i would go with anything that is not made in the USA. just because foreign car makers tend to make the best vehicles on the road. both the volkswagen and the nissan are good cars. volkswagens last a lifetime. they are very well put together cars and you dont see many of them on the road, so it would be nice to have something that everyone doesnt have. its good on gas (for an SUV). the only down side is maintenance. if you can afford the maintenance on a german vehicle, than the volkswagen is something i recommend without a doubt. very reliable, and very safe. the nissan is nice too. you see a lot more of them around, and they arent so good on gas. maintenance is decently priced. if i were looking into SUVs, i would buy the volkswagen because they really are good cars.

Q: Volkswagen Tiguan? Good Car?
I’m looking at buying a Tiguan SE 4Motion with the panoramic sunroof. Looks like a good car. I am looking at a Mazda CX-7 but I like the Tiguan’s styling more.

Thanks!

A: I personally like the mazda cx-7 but the tiguan is good too. Who ever tells you that VW’s suck punch them in the face. Dont own either of them so i cant tell you if its a good car but just wanted to point that out.

Q: Volkswagen Tiguan or Mercedes c class? ?
tiguan – about $15,000
c class – about $18,000
[lease for 39 months]

A: the volkwagon

Q: volkswagen tiguan a good car?
is it a good car. i want your opinion whether you own it or dont

A: No, it’s not a good car
It’s a friggin VOLKSWAGEN!!!

I would suggest the Mazda 5 instead
Even the Kia Rondo is a better choice than a VW!

However, if you STILL want a VW, then I would suggest a Jetta TDI wagon

I would probably go for a 5-speed 5

Q: What cars does the Porsche Panamera AWD compete with?

A: the worlds ugliest dog.
http://blogs.krxq.net/files/2009/06/2007ugliestdog.jpg
i thinnk the panamera is uglyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Q: what would handle better a Mercedes 2008 e350 or a Porsche panamera?

A: I researched a long list of cars versus the Porsche Panamera Turbo (There are four different Panameras.) a while back on Answers. I only considered sedans (four doors). That list included only one Mercedes — the 65 AMG, the big one. It included the Bentley Flying Spur, the Maserati Quadroporte, the new supercharged Jaguar, the Aston Martin Rapide, a Lamborghini, etc., etc.

People can throw all sorts of subjective ideas into such a question: “best boulevard cruiser with rear dishwasher to handle my champagne flutes (Bentley),” “best pillow soft ride,” etc. I ignored that and concentrated on handling.

People like to use 0 to 60 time as a measure of performance. It hardly tells all, but here are the results of the comparison: Panamera Turbo easily beat everything else with two exceptions: the Mercedes 65 AMG, which tied it in 0 to 60 at 4.0 seconds, and the Cadillac CTS-V, which beats both at 3.9 seconds. All three of these cars are faster in this test than the original Lamborghini Diablo.

I’ve ridden in a Panamera 4S (AWD like the turbo, but with only 400 HP) and watched that car perform in a Porsche Club autocross. I’d quickly take this car over all the others, including the much heavier and more expensive Mercedes. In a test of the big Mercedes, Top Gear complained that it tended to overheat when pushed hard.

Q: how is the ‘10 porsche panamera compared to the 2010 Merc s550?
I need somebody who knows what they’re talking about! which one is more comfy? which one is safer? which one is more sporty? why? everything u can possibly think of!!! thanks a lot!!!!!! DETAIL!!!!

A: There has been no comparison testing between other luxury cars and the Porsche Panamera yet. You will have to wait for the results. When I buy mine sometime in 2019 I will give you my personal driving impressions of a used one.

Q: porsche panamera oil change procedure?
how is it done, where is the oil filter, where is the sump drainage.

A: www.rennlist.com but I don’t think anyone is doing their own oil changes on the car as yet.

Q: 2010 Porsche Panamera?
I was wondering about do in 2011, 2010 Porsche Panameras will drop their prices? exemple at this moment basic Panamera just PANAMERA model, stands for 75,000$ how much it will drop price down in 2011 January or February?
Im talking about 2010 Panameras in 2011 January or February

A: lol… you’ve got some funny answers to your question. I think the dealers do get aggressive when the new models come out, but how much really depends upon the dealer, how many units they have on hand, and how badly they want to impress Porsche by moving units. Really, it varies quite a bit, but I wouldn’t expect more than $2,000-$3,000 to come off the price purely because of a change in model year. Sorry, that’s not a very good answer, but its the best generalization I can make.

FWIW, I have driven a couple Panameras, and anyone who tells you they handle badly simply hasn’t driven one. They are very impressive as high performance touring cars go.

Q: Do you know anithing about Porsche Panamera?

A: it’s a concept car as of this moment and porsche’s planning on putting this car to production on 2009, it has a v8 cayenne engine including a normally-aspirated and turbocharged motors making at least 340 and 450 horses respectively. and it’s a sedan which for me is quite unusual for porsche, they say it’s the successor of the 928, it kinda looks like a stretched 911 to me, it will be unveiled at frankfurt’s international auto show in september, prices will range from $125,000 to $175,000

Q: Porsche Panamera and Others?
1. Who have seen Porsche Panamera IN-PERSON and still thinks it’s ugly and is’t worth to price ?

2. what you think about this cars? Which one would you pick up?

2010 BMW X6 5.0
2011 BMW 530i
2010 Mercedes E550 Coupe
2010 Porsche Panamera
2011 Range Rover Sport
2011 Audi S5
2010 Mercedes CLS 550

3. Does anyone know how much going to be up-coming ( Mercedes CLS, Audi A7, BMW 650 in US )

if you able, please answer to my all question with maximum seriousity i will read them with pleasure, because im going to take a lease car in 2011 January, also chosen car would be fine if it fit to my age im 20 years old

Thanks

A: Yes, I’ve seen them IN PERSON!

I’ve seen them in dealers.

I’ve seen them from the inside

I’ve seen them on the road.

I’ve seen them off the road.

I’ve seen them being towed.

I’ve seen them in repair shops.

They’re the ugliest cars I’ve ever seen!!

If you don’t want people pointing and laughing at you for driving such an ugly car, put the Pancake-amera on your “Do not buy” List.

But if I were you, I really wouldn’t buy any of these cars.

Making a comparison between a Panamera and all those other Euro cars is kind of like asking if a root canal would be more pleasant than watching a leaked Joy Behar/Steve Janowitz sex tape….

Actually…I think the root canal would be a clear winner…

BUT DO YOU UNDERSTAND MY POINT, GUY?

Q: Which High performance Luxury sedan would you take between the two?????? Porsche Panamera or Infiniti R35?
For some of you who don’t know, the all new 2010 Porsche Panamera has come out into production selling for $89,900- $132,000 in the US. The Porsche has innovated a vehicle to meet the comfort of a sedan but they still managed to sculpt and create a coupe like sedan that remains to reflect its coupe DNA partner the Cayman.

The All new Infiniti High performance Sedan was speculated to Debut in 2009 as a concept and in 2010 as a production vehicle. Due to the economy the car was postponed to debut in the market of 2011. Infiniti anticipates to revive the all new 2011 Infiniti R-35 as the Flagship sedan for Infiniti which is based on the Nissan GTR but on a completely new platform that reflects Infiniti designs. Although price specs are not set in stone, though Infiniti believes the car will price within a figure of $87,000-$105,000 USD. The R35 will be designed and built to produce 420 HP- 450 HP. Its competitors include the all new Karma Fisker sedan also being introduced to the US in 2011, the Porsche Panamera, Maserati Quattroporte and the 2010 Jaguar XJ.

::::::So my question: Which of these two vehicles would you take? Will you go for something more exotic and such as the Panamera or will you take the sophisticated luxurious Infiniti R35?? Please only choose between these two::::::::::

Pics below so you can compare and judge them.

A: Porsche.

Q: i am considering purchasing a new car. Would it be better to buy a porsche panamera or a BMW 7-series sedan?
It is for a family of three

A: All the best, opt Panamera as it is a costless option for you.

Q: When will the Porsche Panamera be on sale in the US?

A: When you can actually walk into a Dealership and buy or order one will probably depend on where you are. Since the Panamera has been formally presented to the world, it is, in theory, on the market now.

I live in the U.S. In the medium sized city where I reside, it’s virtually impossible to buy a new GT2. They’ve been “on sale” for years. Porsche makes so few of some models that actually getting (or even being able to see) one is problematic. Salt Lake City may get one or two Panameras soon, or not at all this year.

Try L.A. or New York Dealerships.

Q: what do you think of the porsche panamera?
i am looking for a fast 4 door car with allot of luxury
this new porsche has all that
so tell me what you think of it
if you think another car is better then tell me

A: I think you got the best choice , from the reviews I read , this car will be a legend , so go on.

Q: Am I the only one who thinks the new Porsche Panamera has the EXACT SAME front end of a corvette?
Vette- http://www.gotbroken.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/2005-chevrolet-corvette-c6-coupe-front-side-view.jpg

Porsche- http://www.iwebie.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/porsche_panamera_front.jpg

they just look similar to me..
hey yonnafun, you’ve been reported, thanks. I specifically said the front end, but the fact you’re so blatant means you’re prob a troll. Have a good one

A: They look similar.

Q: Are Porsche Panamera stick shifts?
I like this car but I want to know if it is a stick shift. I can’t tell in the pictures so I can’t look there. If it isn’t a stick though, I more than likely won’t consider getting it.

A: Yes … and no. There are six cylinder Panameras – the Panamera and Panamera 4 – and eight cylinder Panameras – the Panamera 4S and Panamera Turbo. Check out this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_Panamera .

Some Panameras can be had with a six-speed manual transmission and some come only with the amazing seven-speed PDK transmission. This is the new, lightning-fast auto tranny (with manual paddle shifters) that lets the 2011 530 HP Porsche 911 Turbo S whip the new “super” ZR1 Corvette (638 HP) on 0 to 60 mph time: 3.1 seconds for the Porsche and 3.4 seconds for the Corvette.

You can have the six speed if you want, but not with the top end Panamera, the 500 HP AWD Turbo, which does 0 to 60 in 4.0 seconds, destroying everything in its class except the Mercedes 65 AMG, which ties it, and the Cadillac CTS-V, which beats them both at 3.9 seconds. (All three of these cars are faster, 0 to 60, than the original Lamborghini Diablo.)

Q: The Porsche Panamera is by far the ugliest current production car. Who agrees?

A: Put simply – anyone who has never bought one agrees with you (and that is a lot of people).

Q: Porsche Panamera or Jaguar xj?
which car do you guys think is better?

A: I have a 2010 Porsche Cayenne and it is amazing! It is classic, sportive, fancy, perfect size etc.
Before getting it, I used to like Mercedes and BMW. Now that I have my baby Porsche I don’t care about those other cars anymore. I don’t even want to see them in the streets.

I think Porsche is better than the other types of cars, because honestly, you don’t see that many people with Porsche’s around.

Find great deals and more information about the Nissan GT-R! At your favorite automotive site CarzUnlimited.com

Q: whats the deal with the nissan gt-r price?
the base price of the gt-r on the Nissan web site is 76,840 but there is a disclaimer saying it excludes destination and handling charges so does that mean they exclude the charges of shipping it from a warehouse in the usa to your state or shipping it from japan to a warehouse in the usa then to your state

A: The destination and handling charge is $1000. I believe that covers from U.S. port of entry to the destination dealership. If I remember correctly, the Titan/Armada used to be the most expensive destination/handling charge ($780), and they’re assembled here in the U.S. The destination and handling charges were SUPPOSED to be included with the price of the GT-R, but that didn’t follow through when they finally arrived.

Q: Where can I get a used Nissan GT-R in ZIP code 07747?
It doesn’t matter what year it is

A: not in the us onless ur talking about the new ones and they start at 85k so if u are look used may 75k goodluck call a nissan dealer they sell them

Q: I am really wanting a nissan r34 nissan skyline gt-r i live in indiana how can i legally get it?
not the 60-90 thousand $ one and if any other import suggestions let me no im new to imports

A: Please ignore sean prejudice i could spend all day following around with his wrong comments,a Skyline is well proven in the racing world and been used in sports for many years after all the Skyline came out in 1957.

Skylines have been used as Taxi’s and Police cars after all there are non turbo single and twin turbo versions,My single turbo Skyline gets 13mpg driving slow so that version would not make a good Taxi cab.And also the car needs high octane fuel so i would like to pay their fares.

The R34 is a great Skyline and still expensive the World over, other Skylines are great also the R32 is light nippy and tunable, the R33 is heavier but the engine has been altered to cope with that mixed with more room and more raw power than the R32 the R34 is a mix of all the good points of the others so as you can tell each Skyline has had a lot to offer and after all the AWD drag record is owned by an R32 taken from an R33.

There are Skylines in the US it is a matter of finding one which is legal and has all the paperwork most states do not require a lhd convesion, but emissions and headlights etc will need to meet US regs.Yes the new GT-R is a great car and i would def have one,but the older Skylines have there own heritage and are great cars also and have that appeal by the masses the World over.

Q: Is the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 from the movie 2 fast 2 furious a Tommy Kraira or a MINE’S?
i know the car is an GT-R R34 but is it a Tommy Kraira or a MINE’S

A: stock version.

No car has quite the same reputation as Nissan’s Skyline GT-R. It’s not officially sold in the United States, barely qualifies as compact, and is built with its steering wheel on the wrong side, but the all-wheel-drive, sequentially twin-turbocharged Skyline GT-R has managed to become a legend in America. That the producers of “2 Fast 2 Furious” (“2F2F”) recognized that is at least somewhat encouraging–isn’t it?

The Skylines used during filming were all R34s, a model introduced way back in 1998. Like other Skylines, the R34 is powered by a RB26DETT 2.6-liter, DOHC, 24-valve straight six sitting longitudinally in the engine bay that’s force fed by twin turbos and rated at a laughingly low 280 hp. The R34’s engine feeds a six-speed Getrag gearbox that in turn sends power to the ATTESA all-wheel-drive system, which electronically varies the torque split.

1999 Nissan Skyline Gtr R34 Rear Side View

Super HICAS four-wheel steering is also aboard and includes an electronic feedback control system to ensure precise wheel positioning under extreme circumstances. But the big change for the R34 from previous Skylines was a stiffened body shell and fresh aerodynamic design. This car has carbon-fiber under-car diffusers and a new rear wing.

In fact, the Skyline R34 is such an effective piece of technology, it was too good for movie work. All-wheel-drive supercars are quick and amazing to drive, but they’re absolutely nonchalant about their work. It takes a rear-quarter hit by an out-of-control country squire to get an R34’s tail to swing out dramatically, and burnouts are tough in a car with more traction than a Caterpillar D9. So the 2F2F transportation department excised the front driveshaft and disabled the Skyline’s four-wheel steering so it could misbehave like a regular car.

1999 Nissan Skyline Gtr R34 Engine View

For its appearance on camera, the Skyline was encrusted within a C-West body kit, drenched in House of Kolor’s platinum pearl paint and treated to a set of 19-inch HRE 446 polished wheels inside Toyo Proxes T1-S tires. Inside, the front passenger seat was ditched in favor of not one, not two, but three nitrous bottles–none of which are actually plumbed into the engine. Also thrown in is a Clarion head unit with LCD TV screen, a big JBL amp and Infinity speakers that actually seem to work. Of course, it also carries a bunch of blue neon and spits blue flame from its exhaust system.

As one of the two cars driven by too-pretty-for-a-guy hero Officer Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker), the Skyline, according to transportation coordinator Ted Moser, has 505 hp on tap and a hoarking 444 lb-ft of torque. In that “2F2F” alternate universe, that means this car rockets to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds, consumes the quarter-mile in 12.1 seconds and has a top speed of 180 mph. Back on the actual planet Earth, the performance is still strong, but not quite as strong as fresher, intact R34s we’ve driven.

With Josh Jacquot doing his suave Paul Walker imitation, the Skyline, which is bone stock under the hood, groped its way through the quarter in 14.1 seconds at 101 mph–the third quickest car of the six included in this movie car test. With 22,254 km (13,797 miles) on its odometer, this car wasn’t old, but it definitely had been beaten up pretty determinedly. Power output seemed down from other R34s, but a direct comparison is tough since the other R34s had the advantage of all-wheel-drive launches and didn’t need a feathery throttle down the track. This car literally smoked its rear tires on every 1-2 upshift, which was cool to watch but certainly added time to each run. Its performance is also sabotaged by its big diameter wheels and the added heft of all the add-ons. The last stock R34 we drove hit 60 mph in just 5.07 seconds and crushed the quarter mile in 13.3 seconds at 103.7 mph.

1999 Nissan Skyline Gtr R34 Front Interior View

The lack of AWD and 4WS knocked the movie Skyline’s performance to 0.91g on the skidpad, although we expected worse. The missing front differentials made the car much easier to drift, which is of course, the point, and we have to admit the car looked great doing it.

As for the brakes, they remain stock all around, and the ABS is intact. From 60 mph, this car stopped in 127 ft. Again, not a terrible performance, but not exactly what we’ve come to expect from a Skyline GT-R.

Overall, the Skyline turned out to be one of the better running and better sorted of the six cars. The driver’s seat is a Sparco Milano and the additional gauges are HKS products.”It’s not too bad,” Josh reported after his quarter-mile runs. “Now we know how a rear-wheel-drive R34 performs.”

Q: what is a better car the nissan gt-r or the mercedes c63 amg?
me and someone are debating on which is a better car to buy so i need facts

A: mercedes. The nissan gt-r is a pile of crap, you cant turn off traction control without voiding your warrenty and when the trans goes its $20k to fix. And yes that has already happened.

Story here:

http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=25361

yea the nissan won but porsche called them out cause they test drove them and ended up being 20sec’s slower then when nissan tested them, even tho nissan denys “modding” it i bet you any money they tuned it and whatever else to make the faster time saying its stock from factory.

Q: Nissan GT-R in Forza Motorsport 3?
Just wanted to know if anyone knows if the Nissan GT-R is in Forza 3.
Would be great if it is.
Thanks Brad

A: Yes it is, she’s a beast of a ride. Nissan’s achievement.

Q: Nissan GT-R in California?
the drivers seat is on right side? isn’t that illegal. Also, how does one import a car, wouldn’t that be super expensive

http://carversation.com/2008/04/12/nissan-gt-r-spotted-in-irvinecalifornia/

A: The GT-R in that video is a RHD car. You can clearly see it at the point when the car goes by the camera after stalling.

Also, the new GT-R is a world market car, so alot of the saftey features used in the Japanese market are also used in the US market, and vice versa.

It was mentioned that the car could be used by Nissan as an R&D mule, so it’s probably just here on a “tourist visa”…lol

Q: Is the 2009 Nissan GT-R too good to be true?
http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Features/articleId=123067

0-60 in 3.5, 193 mph top speed and 473 horsepower…
this car, for its price/value…. seems too good to be true. is it?

A: Faster 3.3 seconds to 60 and 200mph and so well thought out you might even be able to drive it everyday. Understated looks you might fly under the watch full eye of the police too. It is to bad all the 1,200 production has been sold for the first year and no more until 2010. Watch The after sellers there are speculators that bought cars they do not intend to drive just mark up $30,000 and sell for over $100,000. Like the Ford GT. ( I am willing to test drive anybodies GTR at a local race track) Come on any takers?

Q: Where can I find a 2004 Nissan Skyline GT-R in Southern California?
Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nur

A: Try eBay.

Q: 2009 Nissan GT-R Release Date?
Does anyone know if the official 2009 Nissan GT-R Release Date has been made public?

A: Official release date is June of 2008, but in order for the dealer to even sale the vehicle, the dealership’s service department must have a specially trained service manager and technician designated for the gtr and the service must have a certain service score.. Service must also buy a specially designated lift. Unfortunately, your dealerships won’t know until they get an ok from the owner so good luck trying to get info from the sales department.. sorry can’t give any more information..

Q: Where can I buy a 2009 Nissan GT-R in Vancouver B.C.?
I’m having quite a bit of trouble getting information from dealers around here regarding the availability of the GT-R. Any information would be great! Thanks!

A: All you can due is contact Nissan main office i would have thought .
I know Nissan is being slow at selling these cars worldwide due to Nissan garages not being ready to do the repairs and having to be trained and also with these cars being handmade in many areas again has caused a delay.
Also many GT-R’s have been imported by importers but Nissan is trying to stop this and refusing to do any repairs until the car has been officially release in that country.

Q: Nissan GT-R price in future?
OK, so before you answer this question please be a person thats KNOWS what they are talking about, if you have no idea what you are talking about and just guessing the price, please tell me “I guess” or “I think”.

But anyways the question is, how much do you think USED nissan Gt-R’s will be in say 2012-2013? I saw used ones for 61 grand 62 grand and 64 grand.

Do you think they will be 50 grand used??

A: I am a Nissan GT-R master Technician. Let me pull up my Crystal Ball. a 2009 Nissan GT-R with 60 to 100,000 miles or a garage kept example with low miles that the owner know exactly how much it is worth. Prices will be all over the place. I would use caution buying such a car because you cannot just replace the front brake pads (entire brake system) must be serviced for over $8,000 each time. Expensive services not a car for the financially challenged. If you have several Hundred thousand dollars in the bank buy a super-car and loose money faster than investing in the stock market. Cars like these are not good investments if you drive them.

Q: Nissan GT-R Rear Bumper Sticker?
I was wondering where I can find this to put onto my Nissan GT-R. I want the black decals on his bumper. In this video you could see what I mean. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dt01w68GevY
Please help. Thanks a lot.

A: Many people use computer design programs to cut Vinyl lettering. Those with the car dementions added to the computer can use GT Haus picture to duplicate those stickers with out there logos. Try sign and auto wrap shops they can make a set of bumper stickers on flat black 3M sticky back vinyl film. Think of what you also want to do to the front bumper below the headlights.

Q: Is the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 illegal to register in California?
I saw an ad on Craigslist to buy a real Skyline GT-R R34 in the Bay Area, but it said at the bottom, “This car cannot be registered in California.” I was wondering why.
I can’t find the ad anymore, sorry, but the car didn’t look like anything was wrong with it and almost everything was stock. It was also Right hand drive (obviously).

A: Nissan never made them for the US market so they don’t pass US laws. Cali has stricter laws than the rest of the US making it even harder to pass. You could get it converted to pass US laws but its expensive. It also may not be possible to upgrade it further to the Cali laws.

Q: Cars that look like Nissan GT-R?
First off I’m not car expert so don’t criticize lol. I watched fast and furious and love Paul walkers car. I looked it up and it said it was a nissan GT r I fell in LOVE I want a car that looks like that but dosnt include all that speed racing crap. Can u buy a Nissan gtr without that stuff or does anyone know a car that looks similar to it?

A: It’s true what the previous answers said about the Skyline GTR BUT note this, even if you could afford one, they are not sold in America. You would have to import them straight from Japan. unless it’s the 2007+ Nissan Skyline R35 GTR. Reason why is they do not meet USA specs and air regulation. it will be hard for it to be green lit for the go for it to be driven on the street. here’s what i suggest from you, if you just want the exterior and don’t matter much about the interior, buy a Nissan 240SX S13, year 1989-1994 coupe version. Then you import the front end of a Skyline GTR R34 on ebay and get the tail lights, take it to a body shop and have them customize it for you. a friend of mine, his cousin did that and it’s a black color. looks really really clean. the R34 is Paul Walkers GTR in the fast n furious movie.

Q: What is the ugliest car on the road is there anything worse than the Nissan Cube?
On Holiday recently i saw what i believed was the most pug ugly car i’ve ever seen the Nissan Cube ! unbelivable not like the old eastern european cars that were horrible this car is ment to look awfull anyone know of a worse car today ?

A: The new Honda Civic.

Q: Does anyone here like the Nissan Cube? I love it, but am having trouble finding others that do and have a bet?
Does anyone here like the Nissan Cube? I love it, but am having trouble finding others that do and have a bet going with someone.

A: yeah i love the nissan cube i think its the best car in the world but it doesnt matter if other people like your car or not the only thing that matters is if you like it.

Q: What is the name of the song in the Nissan cube commercial?
in the new nissan cube commercials that sometimes play during heroes – what is the name of the song?

A: The name of the song of the Nissan Cube 2009 commercial is Ice Cream by the New Young Pony Club

Q: What are some SUVs similar to the Honda Element or Nissan Cube?
So I am trying to find a SUV I like and I want more options. I LOVE the Honda Element and the Nissan Cube, but I want to see if there are any other cute SUVs that I would like. I haven’t found any so does anyone have any recommendations as to which SUVs are similar to either of these. What I like about them is that they are small and their shape it looks more modern so ya.

A: I used to own a Honda Element and enjoyed it for about 3-1/2 years, but it only seated four and I grew tired of the clam shell doors and tall profile. Replaced it with a second generation Scion xB (2008-2010) and I absolutely love this ride. Technically it’s not an SUV, but neither is the Cube. The xB is big on the inside, small on the outside, fun to drive, has a good balance of performance and economy, is nicely equipped and reasonably priced. It’s not available in AWD, but with traction control and stability control it is quite capable in snow, plus it has ABS and airbags all around. Earlier this year I took it on a 7500 mile cross country trip in all kinds of road and weather conditions and speeds up to 80 mph. Got 30 mpg and enjoyed every moment of the trip. Scion’s “no-haggle” pricing makes buying a much more pleasant experience, and you can get all kinds of TRD and aftermarket accessories to personalize your xB if you’re into that kind of thing.

Q: Does the Nissan Cube BZ11 use the same suspension parts as the March K12?
I live in HK and the Nissan Cube is an import from Japan. I need to change my suspension bushings and cannot find parts to my car. I heard from friends before that the Nissan March K12 uses the same engine parts. Does the Nissan Cube BZ11 use the same chassis & does it use the same suspension parts?

A: there may be no interchangeable parts between those two different chassis and motors. Cube is built on a Sentra like platform here in the USA. UK March is a Almera Altima platform. More information like what year March would be helpful. Also late model cars suspension bushings come only with the transverse links and rear suspension bushings may not be available separately.

Q: how many devices can I have connected to the nissan cube bluetooth?
I added my iphone to the nissan cube bluetooth and then added my erickson phone to the same device and it disconnected my iphone. We shut off the engine but the iphone will not reconnect. My question is can I have 2 cell phones connected at the same time?

A: section 4 page #5 owners manual says up to 5 phones can be paired to your car buy you can use only one at a time. So turn off all but the one phone you want to use.

Q: Does anyone know if the nissan cube has a sunroof?
Im undecided, don’t know hat car to buy. I need something that I can afford my Nissan options are the versa or the cube.

A: CUBE!!!! the versa is, no offense, but cheap looking and ugly. I just bought a cube 2 months ago. i get 33 mpg to 34 mpg in the city and around 35 on the highway. the car rocks is all i got to say. get a spoiler though, thats what im bout to get for mine. if u can afford it, go for the sl but if not the s is just fine. oh and no sunroof is available, but u get that cool window in the back!! if that counts….

Q: Does anyone know if the back tailgate/door on the nissan cube is one solid piece?
I’m looking at the Nissan Cube. It’s cheap and it suits my needs for now. The only thing I can’t figure out is if the back tailgate is one piece or not. Can I open the window without opening the door or is it one solid piece?

A: It is but the window does not open and it opens like a fridge door in case you didn’t know. Good choice im getting one too.

Q: Recommend pulling a trailer with a Nissan Cube?
I have a 2009 Nissan Cube, 6-speed manuel. Anybody think it would be alright to install a hitch on it and pull a single jet-ski with this car?? I heard it wouldn’t do damage to the car and I was just wondering if anyone had experiences with this car or something similar.

A: Just remember on a sliimey slick boat ramp front wheel drive is not as good for pulling anything out of the water. Your Cube should do ok as long as you don’t exceede the reccomended weight in your owners manual.

Q: if i worked minimum wage would i be able to buy a nissan cube?
i need a car and i’m wondering if a minimum wage job would be enough to buy a nissan cube. i don’t have any expenses besides that because i’m 16 and i live with my parents. please help?

A: You don’t need to strap on a payment for a new car. If you really need a car, save up and pay cash for a used one. You aren’t old enough to enter a legal contract anyway. @Raven….nobody really cares to hear your anti-Japanese ravings.

Q: whats the song that plays in the 2009 Nissan cube car commercial?
its like a techno sounding and a women’s voice
and its like:
i can give you what you want. i can make…(i don’t know the rest of the words haha)
again its in the 2009 Nissan cube car commercial
okay thanks

A: The song is called Ice Cream by New Young Pony Club. Weird name, but awesome song! I love it!

Q: Should i get a Nissan Cube or a Hyundai Genesis Coupe for my first car?
Sixteenth birthday is soon. The nissan cube is what i actually like because of it’s quircky cuteness. But the genesis coupe is more sport…overall what do yall think i should do? =/

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: I have just purchased a Nissan Cube, need help with the DVD player and radio.?
I have just purchased a Nissan Cube, need help with the DVD player and radio. Does anyone know if its easy to convert to UK bandwidth and if the dvd player plays uk films and can you convert the language to English?

A: yes it very easy to convert the bandwidth you can buy a convertor on ebay for about £4 + postage, im not sure about the dvd player depends what region it is. maybe consider replacing unit with a uk radio/dvd player
great choice of car by the way i had a 2004 black one it was great, found a 100 yen note in glove box found out it was worth 50p or a quid or something!!

Q: Is a Nissan cube bigger than a Ford Focus Zx3?
I can’t find the dimensions of both cars to compare. How much bigger is the cube?

Thanks!

A: The Cube is much shorter (about a foot) in length, but taller in height, and they are about the same width. Interior space is similar overall as the extra height makes up for the lack of length.

Here you go – dimensions for both:

http://www.edmunds.com/new/2010/nissan/cube/101262073/specs.html

http://www.edmunds.com/used/2005/ford/focus/100402033/specs.html

You’re welcome.

Q: Which car is overall better, nissan cube or scion soul?
i want to know which car is overall better. the nissan cube seems more compact but the soul seems more attractive exterior-wise. help? thanks.

A: Nissan has been around longer and therefore has more of a reputation but Kia has done well for itself as well. Personally I think the Soul is going to cost less and is better looking not quite as boxy as the cube!

Find great deals and more information about the Jaguar XF! At your favorite automotive site CarzUnlimited.com

Q: what car do you think is better a jaguar xf or range rover sport?
i going to buy a car soon.so i was wondering if i should choose between the range rover sport or jaguar xf.

i want a vehicle that looks good and get lots of attention.so i can have something over the drivers of other luxury vehicles.for eg benz, bmw,vw,audi and so on.

i am willing to wait on the 2010 range rover sport or buy the jaguar xf premium luxury.

WHICH WOULD YOU CHOOSE.

A: Jaguar xf is personaly one of my dream car cars. It will be turning heads like no other. Jaguar just has an essence about it. The interior is amazing as well. There are just too many great things about that car that I cant even think of them all.

If I were you I would get the XF. But thats just me.

Q: How much would I have to pay a month to lease a Jaguar XF?
Ok , Y! Autos is being stupid and it won’t show me how much I would have to pay per month to lease a jaguar xf , even though it used to. But how much would I have to pay per month?

Heres the car :

http://autos.yahoo.com/2009_jaguar_xf_series_luxury/

What would I have to do to know how much I’d have to pay a month?

A: Probably about $500. a month

Q: Should I buy a used Mercedes CLS or a new Jaguar XF?
I’m thinking about purchasing a new/used car and I have narrowed it down to either a brand new Jaguar XF sedan or a used CLS. Which one do you think is a better idea now?

A: Get the new Jag XF. It is great, Ford has improved Jag’s quality tremendously. You won’t see as many on the road right now.

Q: My dad bought me a jaguar xf for my first car. I’m 16, what are some mods for it?
I recently received a 2008 jaguar xf for my 16th birthday. It has 30,000 miles on it, great condition, but I’m wondering what I can do to make it look better. Any suggestions?
And I am serious, I’m not just trying to piss people off by saying I got a nice car.

Thanks

A: keep the car the way it is. why mess up a nice car with ugly mods. makes absolutely no sense at all.

Q: I’m thinking of trading my husband in for a newer model. Would a 2009 Jaguar XF be a good choice?
I think that I would get more than enough money from my divorce settlement to buy my dream car. I am torn between the Jaguar and an ‘09 BMW 3-series.

Can anyone give me the pros and cons of each? Which would be a better choice?

A: Well it depends are you looking for speed or comfort?

The Jaguar is ideal for bank robberies due to wide doors for easy entrance and good speed and handling for get aways.

The BMW is German built however so does have a certain comfort and reliability that women tend to prefer.

Now divorce does not always get all that you can. So try selling of a few of your husbands things and embezzling the cash.

_()_

Q: What is the name of the song in the British new Jaguar XF advert?
It sounds like Arctic Monkeys ‘Fake Tale of San Fransisco’.
Nah it’s not Shock of the Lightening.

I’ve looked all over youtube and can’t find it, it’s really annoying. Oh well, cheers anyway

A: Is it “The Shock of the Lightning”, by Oasis.

It comes from their seventh album Dig Out Your Soul.

Q: what is the song on the jaguar xf 2010 advert?
i cant find it anywhere and im unsure as to whether or not it was written especially for the advert.

A: it’s called Pot Kettle Black by Tilly and the Wall

here’s the video;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7HjBr_QMXI

hope this helps

Q: How does the Jaguar XF proximity sensor work? Does that “button” actually work, or is it just for show?

A: Should be asking in another section as even though Ford owned Jaguar until recently, most Ford people won’t know about them.

If they are like most Ford products, they work on ultrasound technology to guess range and the button is to shut it up if say you are carrying a trailer for instance

Q: im buying a new car and the new jaguar xf looks good, but is it a reliable car?
i hear jaguars are very unreliable and only to buy one if im ready to spend a few grand getting it repaired all the time. is the xf a reliable car??

A: Jaguar has been improving quality over the years. In 2008, Jaguar has scored 7th in the Initial quality rating by JD power. 6th was Toyota and 5th was Mercedes. It doesn’t seem to make sense but it is true. The Xf might have problems but I think it is a pretty reliable car. Road and Track, a car magazine, did a long-term test with the Jaguar XK for 50,000 miles. The XK is the same chassis as the XF but the XF has four doors. It only had minor problems such as the seat wouldn’t work but then worked a again after a while. Or a piece of trim would come off but could be put back on by yourself. The cost of repairs ( such as fixing the seat or trim pieces) have only been $200 for 50,000 miles. There were no expensive repairs but when they were in for maintanence service, (such as oil changes etc.), they said the customer service was excellent. Maintanence is expensive, it was $2322 for 50,000 miles. Wait for Road and Track to give a full review in the next month, they will cover everything. I think you would be fine with the XF.

Q: Should I upgrade from Jaguar X type to Jaguar XF?
I am thinking of trading in my X type jag for a new XF and would love to hear from anyone who already has the XF who can say what they think of it. Essentually, is it worth the money?

A: ummmmm YES!!!

i don’t have one myself but i know a person that does and i am a car enthusiest anyway…it looks great, extreemly comfortable interior, good performance. good quality…if you can afford it GO FOR IT!!

Q: In 2014, how much could I expect to pay for a 2009 Jaguar XF?
I’m a senior in high school and I was thinking of buying myself my dream car after college. A 2009 base Jaguar XF costs about 42k right now. In 4 or 5 years, how much might I pay for one? [This includes the depreciation of value of the car and inflation.]

A: there are a ton of variables. mileage is one and if its been wrecked is another. for a decent condition jaguar xf would be around the lower 30s by that time, if not in the upper 20s. somewhere around 28k to 32k is my guess. which is decent depending on the type of xf you want to buy.
if i were you, i really wouldnt buy a jaguar because they are known to be unreliable, but im just warning you before you go and spend the money on a car that might give you problems in the future. Alfa Romeo is coming to the USA and Canada around 2013, you might try checking into those.

Q: whats the song on the new jaguar XF commercial?
it says something about text jaguar to some number to get the ultimate jaguar experience lol. the song sounds cool.

A: Look here:

http://www.splendad.com/

Q: Which car should I buy as a daily car? A 2 years old pre-owned Mercedes S350, or a brand new Jaguar XF 3.0? ?
Price of both are about the same.

A: What the hell is an “evergreen” car? I think someones translation software has a glitch.

Anyway, they are both beautiful cars and congrats on being able to shop for such nice vehicles. That said, lease the new Jag. You don’t want to hang on to either of these cars beyond the warranty due to the shoddy reliability ratings they both get (buy a corolla if you want reliable. we’re shopping for awesome here). Also, luxury car values are taking a nose dive along with the economy, and if you finance you will be tanked in that Mercedes. Actually, there’s nothing wrong with leasing a new Benz either — I personally love that new XF though. Buy assets that appreciate, lease assets that depreciate.

Q: What do you think about the Jaguar XF?
It has a terrible MPG and is supposed to be a nightmare to drive.

Although the design is sleek. I definitely wouldn’t say it’s worth 54K.

What do you think?

A: I don’t care for it. It doesn’t have the same panache as the old XJ. There’s nothing particularly British about it.

Q: Is the new Jaguar XF a good buy?
I got my company car renewal form the other day and essentially I have narrowed it down to either the jag (2.7 v6 d), the BMW 530d or the Audi a6 3.0tdi

Which would you choose?

I have had a 5 series before and it was great but I look at that jag and think it’s just beautiful for a saloon plus I’ll be helping the Brit car industry. The only reservation is reliability – my mate had an x type which was nothing but trouble.

A: take the Jag

Q: Honda Insight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
I have a couple qestions regarding the honda insight: its a cell battery, would that mean it can run in electric power for more than 60 km of speed.

A: but its ugly

Q: Why does the new Honda Insight so greatly resemble the Toyota Prius?
The Prius is the darling of the automotive world. Fine, but i assumed it was because of it’s hybrid system, not because of its styling. Mark you, it’s not that horrendous, just boring. When Honda announced they were introducing a new Hybrid car along the lines of their old Insight from a few years ago, the original which had a unique and interesting design, i was somewhat excited. But the new Insight is quite easy to mistake for Prius. Why the conformity?!?

A: The body style of the Insight is designed to reduce drag to maximize fuel efficiency. This was not done to the Civic Hybrid because Honda wanted it to still look like a Civic. With the new generation Insight, Honda could take advantage of a different body style to increase fuel efficiency, which happens to be what Toyota engineers did with the Prius years before.

Q: Can anyone help me with the Honda Insight car?
Okay so I am confused. Is the 2009 Honda Insight hybrid the same as the 2010 Honda insight hybrid. Do they just call it 2010 for fun even though it’s actually made in 2009? Please answer thanks.

A: There is not a 2009 Insight. The Insight is labeled as a 2010 model only.

We already have 2010 Odyssey and Pilot models in stock now.

Q: is the 2010 honda insight a safe vehicle?
I am considering buying a 2010 honda insight and i was wondering how safe it is, I can’t seem to find it on the internet.

A: NO!!! These vehicles are completely unsafe. Asteroids tend to hit these cars within days of purchase. 99% of the time, people are in the car. The frame and engine block is made out of iron and has a very high magnetic charge, which makes other cars pull towards this car, and people tend to hit metal poles and the back end of cars. These cars have horrible suspension, and break down all the time. They have 1 out of 5 stars for safety on all impacts tests. These cars motors tend to explode in the parking lot and while your driving them. Be careful if you get this car!

Q: How come the old honda insight has greater MPG than new ones?
1999 Honda Insight had an estimated MPG rating of 61 city/ 70 highway whereas the 2010 Insight has 40 city/ 43 highway?

A: The US Government recently changed how cars are measured for MPG. The new test more accurately reflects “real world” driving, not test track or laboratory driving. Because of this, almost all cars lost some of their MPG ratings.

Q: Brittni want to buy a car that gets excellent gas mileage. She is trying to decide between a Honda Insight ?
& a Honda Civic Hybird. Honda Insight city 57, Hwy 56, Civic city 45, Hwy 51. She likes the Civic better, but the insights gas mileage is tempting. Assuming she drives 12,000 miles a year & about 60% of her miles are city, how much more gas would she use per year in the Civic. If gas costs $2.78 per gallon, how much more will she spend on the Civic?

A: Wait for the 2010 Honda Insight. It will cost about $18,500, compared to the Civic Hybrid which starts at $23,550. That $5000 you save buying the 2010 Insight over the Civic Hybrid will be enough to pay for 1250 gallons of gasoline at $4 a gallon (enough gasoline for a few years of driving).

The 2010 Honda Insight: http://jalopnik.com/5045333/new-honda-insight-hybrid-revealed-expected-18500-price-tag-to-make-it-worlds-cheapest

Though many have jokingly called it the “Honda Prius” or “Honda Hindsight” because it looks so much like the Toyota Prius.

Q: What do you think of the honda insight 2010?
After owning a kia, we are looking to buy a new car. In this economy, we figured an economic car is a better choice. we went to a Honda dealer earlier and saw the Honda hybrid insight 2010. if you own this car, what do you think of it. I know Honda is a reliable industry, but how does the insight control? does it handle well, and is it easy to use? Give me your comments about it.

A: Any Honda is a good choice, my family has 3 of them, each with almost 200,000 miles on them. The Insight is a great car, it handles better than the comparable Toyota Prius, and involves the driver much more. It gets similar mileage to the Prius as well, and costs less, and is the best buy in the hybrid segment. It is a high-tech car, but the dealer will show you how to use the systems, and you should have no problems using the car. I hope this helps!

Q: Does the 2000 Honda Insight have a back seat.or is it only a 2 seater?
I have been looking everywhere and cannot find pictures of any 2000 Insight interior photo except for the front seats- Are there back seats? Anyone have photos up of their Insight from teh back cargo area/back seat area?

If there are only 2 seats, do the newer insights have more that 2 seats?

Thanks for your help!

A: All Insights are two seat coupes. They do have storage behind the two seats under the glass hatch that is big enough for a suitcase but not much more.

Honda no longer makes the Insight. There were only a handful made in 2007 and it has been discontinued for 2008. They have a poor resale value because they are small two seaters that are pretty ’stripped’. The Civic Hybrid took all the sales away from the Insight; the only reason honda kept making the Insight was because of the 60+ mpg rating on the manual trans Insight. In 2008 the EPA changed the way they calculate the fuel mileage and honda decided to stop production.

hope that answers your question

Q: Is the Honda Insight Hybrid still being made?
When I check the online car sales websites it appears this vehicle dissapears after 2003. I like it better than that smart-car. I can’t afford a Prius and a used Insight seems the best choice in the under $15K range.

A: No. Honda stopped making them in 2006.
Everything I have read says Honda will be introducing 3 new hybrids in the coming years.

Although Honda is hush hush about what they are, some forums say that there will be a Hybrid version of the Honda Fit, which will likely be the cheapest new hybrid on the market if it is introduced.

Q: Why do hybrid cars like the Honda Insight and the Toyota Prius have an “old style” Antenna sticking out?
Is that for design, performance, or just economical than low profile windshield antennas? The reason why Im asking is Im too lazy to wash my car and prefer going to an automatic carwash but I don’t wanna break the antenna on my Insight?

A: I think they do it to give it a more “High Tech” look. Unfortunately, I don’t think it pulls it off.

Q: What is the difference between an LX and an EX on a 2010 Honda Insight ?
It seems the EX has aluminum wheels , but are the interiors the same ?

A: EX has niceties such as a sunroof, while the LX is pretty stripped down.

Q: How can I break 45 mpg on my honda insight?
I do everything right, roll up the windows, turn off the AC, and accelerate smoothly, and the econ mode is on. What more can I do?

A: Brake smoothly. Toss out anything you don’t need, extra weight means more gas gas use, mind you, check tire pressure every month, and clean you car regularly, dirt build up equals more weight too.

Q: Is the new honda insight a sedan or a station wagon?
I am so very confused. It looks like it could go either way.

A: A sedan is a four door car with a trunk.

The Insight is a Hatchback or Wagon. It will be referred to as a hatchback more then a wagon.

Q: what is better a honda insight or a toyota prius?
to anybody to owns any of these cars
which is better the toyota prius or a honda insight
and what are the downsides to each one
thanks

A: “Better” is subjective as it means different things to different people. One person can say that the Toyota is better because it is able to achieve better fuel mileage while another may say the Honda is better because it is less expensive.
Neither person would be wrong because both observations are true.

Q: Should I get the New Honda Insight?
I had a versa, extreme low mileage. I was not pleased with its low gas mileage 22-23 avg. Far less than 33 in advertised. Should i spend like 10 k more to trade in with a new honda insight?

A: I wouldn’t. How long do you think it would take for you to use up $10 k in fuel with your current versa?

At least wait until there are some real-world fuel consumption results for the insight (from owners or testers, check automotive blogs). Hybrids don’t always deliver the fuel consumption numbers the manufacturers promised either.

Find great deals and more information about the Ford Flex! At your favorite automotive site CarzUnlimited.com

Q: I have a Flex Fuel Ford Ranger. Id like to use E85 but do not know the history of the truck.?
Could parts have been replaced (hoses etc) by previous owners that would make it incompatible to run E85 or is this not something that can be changed.

A: I really doubt they would have since doing would entail changing out a lot of the sensors plus the engine’s computer. It should be able to handle e85 just fine. Although e85 isn’t as efficient as gasoline so you’ll be using more e85 to run it than gasoline. I think it would use about 1/3 more e85 to travel the same distance than gas used.

Q: How does the AWD system in the Ford Flex work?

A: Torque from the engine is transferred through the transaxle to the PTU. This torque is transferred from the driveshaft to the rear axle, which drives the rear halfshafts. The AWD system, referred to as an Active Torque Coupling (ATC) system, is always active and requires no driver input.

The AWD system continuously monitors vehicle conditions and automatically adjusts the torque distribution between the front and rear wheels. During normal operation, most of the torque is delivered to the front wheels. If wheel slip between the front and rear wheels is detected, or if the vehicle is under heavy acceleration, the AWD system increases torque to the rear wheels to prevent or control wheel slip.

Serviceable components of the PTU are limited to the output shaft seal and flange, intermediate shaft seal and deflector, and the PTU transaxle compression seal. No internal components are serviced. There should be no need to remove the PTU cover. If any of the internal geared components, bearings, case cover or shafts are worn or damaged, a new PTU must be installed.

The vehicle is equipped with an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system, also referred to as Active Torque Coupling (ATC), that is always active and requires no driver input. The system has no Mode Select Switch (MSS).

The system continuously monitors vehicle conditions and automatically adjusts the torque distribution between the front and rear wheels. During normal operation, most of the torque is sent to the front wheels. If wheel slip between the front and rear wheels is detected or if the vehicle is under heavy acceleration (high throttle position), the AWD system increases torque to the rear wheels to prevent or control wheel slip.

If the spare tire is installed, the AWD system may disable automatically and enter Front Wheel Drive (FWD) only mode to protect driveline components. This condition may be indicated by an AWD OFF message in the message center.

If there is an AWD OFF message in the message center from using the spare tire, this indicator should turn off after reinstalling the repaired or replaced normal road tire and driving a short distance. It is recommended to reinstall the repaired or replaced road tire as soon as possible. Major dissimilar tire sizes between the front and rear axles could cause the AWD system to stop functioning and default to FWD or damage the AWD system.

AWD faults may be indicated by the wrench lamp in the Instrument Cluster (IC) as well as CHECK AWD message in the message center.

The system consists of a Power Transfer Unit (PTU), 4X4 control module, rear axle and a solenoid actuated ATC device. Based on the amount of current sent to the clutch, the module varies the torque sent to the rear wheels by sending a duty cycle to the ATC device, located inside the rear axle.

The 4X4 control module also provides the brake system with its current clutch duty cycle and determines whether or not the brake system may take command of the clutch duty cycle.

NOTE: The ATC solenoid is not repairable. If a new component is required, the ATC solenoid and rear axle are installed as an assembly.

The active, on-demand AWD system uses data from other systems as inputs to the 4X4 control module. The 4X4 control module uses the inputs to determine the appropriate amount of current to send to the ATC solenoid that delivers the desired torque to the rear wheels.

Specific inputs to the 4X4 control module are:

Accelerator pedal position via the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN)
Transaxle range from the PCM via the HS-CAN
Brake system status from the ABS module via the HS-CAN
Wheel speed from all 4 wheels from the ABS module via the HS-CAN

4X4 control module outputs are:

Solid-state clutch (pulse-width modulated signal) to the ATC solenoid
Percent of torque transfer commanded signal to the ABS module via the HS-CAN
Torque request available signal to the ABS module via the HS-CAN

Heat Protection Mode

During very extreme off-road operation, the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system utilizes a heat protection mode to protect the Active Torque Coupling (ATC) solenoid (part of rear axle) from damage. If the system detects an overheat condition, it enters a locked mode. If the heat in the system continues to rise once in the locked mode, the 4X4 control module disables the ATC solenoid. This condition may be indicated by an AWD OFF message in the message center. Allow the system to cool down at least 10 minutes with the ignition switch in the ON position.

Q: Can anyone help I have had my Ford Flex 6 months bought 2 windshields and it is cracked again $363 replacement?

A: Odds are nothing is wrong with the car because the windshield is glued in. When the first one broke, the replacement, for all intents and purposes, was set in there floating on the adhesive, so if the body was in a bind and was stressing the other windshield, it isn’t now.

If the car was flexing enough to break it repeatedly, you would have a lot of other problems. Doors don’t open right when is isn’t parked level, squeaks and rattles when you hit bumps or go into driveways, things like that.

How are the cracks starting? Middle of the glass? Corner? Did all three start in the same place?

Remember that in making the car get better mileage, they reduce weight. 1600 oz is a 100 lbs and glass is heavy. It is a little thinner making it more fragile

Q: 2007 tundra 4wd stock and 2010 ford flex everything but sun roof?
is it a good trade ? the tundra for the flex

A: Anything Is better than a Toyota

Q: What exactly is a Flex Pipe on a Ford Escort?
I have a 95′ ford escort and while getting an oil change the mechanic mentioned to me that my flex pipe is broken and I should get it fixed. How much would it cost? and could I do it myself? What does it look like?

1.9liter 1995 ford escort ? NJ

A: The flex pipe is between the engine hedder and the exhaust pipe that goes from the fount of the car to the back of the car.It absorbs the flexing between the exhaust pipe and hedder when you accelerate and decelerate. The hedder is what collects the exhaust as it comes out of the engine ports and drops down to the exhaust pipe.It is a crucial piece and must be in place for safety and noise reasons.unfortunately it is not a cheap little piece It’s only 10 inches long by 3 to 3.5 inches wide.Glad to help and hope this helps you to understand. That engine is a toughie take care of it I got 491,000 on my 92 before the unibody let loose.

Q: Which Ford Flex model should I get?
I was wondering which Ford Flex model I should get. I want 4-wheel drive, and price doesn’t really matter. Also, what are some good features that I should get? Thanks!
Love Ya-Levi

A: Depends on what you want.
The SE is the best value, in my opinion. If you want more bells and whistles, you can upgrade to the SEL or the Limited.

The SE gives you everything you need and costs the least.

Q: Ford Flex good price Canada ?
Looking to buy a Ford Flex basis model. Just wondering what the best price someone has got on a new one in Canada.

A: try ebay….depends on what you want- ive seen thousands of them in auto trader magazine

Q: I’m looking for the name of the song for the new 2009 Ford Flex commercial?
I’ve been looking for the name of this song for about 10 years now and finally heard it playing on a New 2009 Ford Flex Commercial. Some of the lyrics to the song are this: ( Hey pretty baby, come and take a ride with me… into my world), Anyone, someone please I’m going nuts??? Thanks in advance for any help.

A: Poe – Hey Pretty

http://www.eletrohitz.com.br/musica.php?artista=Poe&musica=Hey+Pretty

Q: Why does everyone say the Ford Flex has an expensive interior? It looks cheap…?
Why is the leather all loose and puckery looking? The seats have no shape or anything. It looks like a LazBoy in a trailer park, in my opinion. Compared to like the Acadia, the seats are like lumps of clay. Why are they like this? And why do people think it looks good…?

A: Because it’s lightyears better than anything from GM? Seriously, GM has the worst interiors on the market. I’ve seen better interiors in Civics than they put in the Corvette and the Cadillac lineup. But to each their own…

Q: What is the song on the new Ford Flex commercial? ?
It something about driving at 2 in the morning, and come to my wicked world

it has a female vocalist and she has kindof a blues-ish voice
and that stupid song by Poe isn and that stupid song by Poe is not it.

A: YES IT IS POE!!! “Hey Pretty” from her Haunted album, inspired by House of Leaves.

Q: has any of you drove the ford flex?
when you are backing up and get close to something it beeps at you.
it is a cool ride!

A: sure. That has been around for along time. ultrasonic sensors. if you see the little round things in the bumper on the back of cars all the way across, that is what those are.

Q: Who does the song from the Ford Flex commercial?

A: Citizen Cope – “Son’s Gonna Rise”

Q: does the ford flex qualify for the section 179 tax deduction?

A: This is my opinion.

NEVER use fast depreciation on a vehicle. ALWAYS use the mileage if the vehicle gets more than 13 miles per gallon.

I don’t know exactly what a Ford Flex is; sorry. If it weighs less than 6,000 pounds then it falls into the Luxery vehicle definition and section 179 expense is not available. However, it still can claim the 50% Bonus Depreciation that has a limit of $10,960 or $11,060 (light trucks & vans).

If you use fast depreciation then you can never switch this vehicle over to the mileage method. Here are the limitations:
year 1 $2960 or 10,960 w/ the 50% Bonus Depreciation taken into account.
year 2 $4800.
year 3 $2850.
succeeding years $1775 – basically until the vehicle departs our service.

Oh, but there is one more thing. The above limits are further reduced by the business usage percentage.

Use the mileage method 55 cents per mile for the whole life of the car.

Q: How do you like your 2010 Ford Flex?

A: I just turned in a Flex SEL from an extended (10-day) rental.

The car feels large, but very nimble. Acceleration and cornering were better than I expected. Fuel mileage overall was around 23 – again, surprising for the size of the vehicle and the load (generally 4-6 passengers) I was carrying.

The 4.0 FWD running gear feels and sounds like a Taurus, but the space and configuration is Explorer/Expedition class. The boxy styling is a little jarring initially, but grew on me – and it was nice to know exactly where all four corners of the car were.

The low thresholds without running boards permit easy ingress/egress. The seating position is upright with plenty of adjustment – not the “commanding view” I’m used to in my E-Series van, but as good or better than most mid- and large-size crossovers. The 2/3/2 seating is comfortable; the rear seats are fine for kids or small adults – comfort and space are fine, ingress/egress is a little awkward for big people. The fit/finish are top notch inside and out, and the feel is definitely upscale.

The laminated, dual glass windows and excellent weatherstrip and soundproofing block out the road noise. The Sync system and Sirius worked flawlessly.

Ford has joined most of the rest of the market in clustering the audio and A/C controls in an integrated center console. Everything made sense and common adjustments were straightforward. My only negative observations on this are: 1.) the controls for different functions look alike and are clustered near one another – I got used to them, but initially made some “on-the-fly” mistakes. 2.) If a control module or something else breaks in there, it’s a lot more involved to fix than with discrete controls.

The Flex is essentially a refined, upscale station wagon marketed as a crossover SUV. It has many good qualities and is certainly worth considering if you’re looking for a vehicle in that class. It’s definitely a good alternative to larger, truck-style SUVs if you don’t need the truck frame.

Good luck!

Q: is it a good deal to trade a 2007 toyota tundra for a 2010 ford flex?

A: you gave us no details at all, so it’s impossible to answer this question. A loaded Flex with the ecoboost, AWD, leather, sunroofs, etc, is worth probably 15K more than the base FWD model. Likewise a loaded 4WD Tundra is worth many thousands more than the base 2WD model, even at 4 years old.

Go to Edmunds.com to get an idea of what each vehicle is worth and that will help you decide whether this is a good deal or not.

Q: What is a better vehicle Pontiac g8 or Audi Q5?
I am aware they are very different vehicles but i want a strong yet fast vehicle and in that case they are very similar, the pontiac has so much more horsepower which makes the choice hard, why cant the audi have more horsepower (the Pontiac G8 gxp has 415 hp :O the q5 only has like 270). Thanks

A: The Audi Q5 already has lots of HP is you are talking about the Q5. That is the most powerful compact SUV.

It is more practical and much better in snow and much more luxurious and more comfortable and has better interior quality.

If you like sports cars, go for the Pontiac. It is more fun to drive.

Q: how to get european maps on my US spec Audi q5?
I just ordered my 2010 Audi Q5 which is also US spec. I am in the military and we will be shipping this back so that is why we ordered US spec. The issue is that the navigation system has US maps and we live in Germany. Has anyone else ever ran into this issue? if so, what was your solution? We have a separate GPS but we’d rather use the gorgeous built-in system.

A: i don’t know!

Q: What does the SD card look like for the 2010 Audi Q5?
I want to import music onto the hard drive on my 2010 Audi Q5.

A: well its a SD card lol. i looks like every other standard SD card avaliable. make sure it isnt Micro SD becuase a lot of things are switching over to those now

Q: What category would you put the Audi Q5 in?
I have a Lexus RX 350, would the Q5 be comparable to that? I’m only asking because both SUV’s are comparable in price while the Q7 seems more like the Lexus GX.

What are you’re thoughts?

A: the q5 is a compact suv, the q7 is a full size suv. your lexus is probably a little bigger than the q5 but a little smaller than the q7.

-johnny wadd

Q: Is it possible to import an Audi Q5 or Q7 from Los Angeles to Australia?
Also, do you think you could get one with the steering wheel on the opposite side?
How much would this all cost?
Any ideas welcome…

A: i dont know why you would want to do that when you could just buy one in australia. i live in canada and we have a bit of an influx of 1993 or so right hand drive mercedes and bmw’s being imported here. it becomes a bit of a problem when you want to insure your vehicle, the insurance companies will only insure the vehicle for damage or injury you cause to a third party, they wont cover own damage on the vehicle. there may be rules like this in australia which would make the vehicle difficult to insure.

-johnny wadd

Q: Are the Audi Q5 and Porsche Cayenne both based on the VW Touareg?
The Q5 and Cayenne have the same chassis, but is it the Touareg chassis or one unique to those brands? it cant be a Tiguan as that is too small.

A: Yes, and they’re all junk.

Q: how do you get a deal on audi q5 in CT?
HI, I am recently looking to buy a new, preferably an audi. I was wondering if it is possible to get a deal on them in connecticut. Is it?

A: yes its possible, compile all the audi dealers, and even used dealers that may have a q5 with 5k miles (still new) and use the internet
to call around and price shop. you may want to even look out of state and ask what the sales tax is as well as that can add up. it may be some work but it will be worth your while, once you are behind the wheel of that awesome suv. best of luck!

Q: Second hand Audi Q5 or second hand BMW X3 as a first car?
I’m turning 18 in a few months and my dad gave me the choice between those two cars. What do you think about the price? Which one is safer? Which one is more elegant in your opinion?

Thanks in advance.

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.yoll.net

Q: Is the Audi Q5 a good softroader?
Hello, If I buy a Audi Q5 I am planing on making it a softroader. but noting too heavy. Would the Q5 be a good choice for this?

A: Yes the Q5 is a good choice but you should remember that you have others you can consider such as:

BMW X3
Mercedes GLK
Volvo XC60
Land Rover Freelander 2

Im my opinion I would take the Volvo as it is better value for money!

Q: how many people fit into a audi q5?
I would like to know how may people fit into an audi q5, including the driver
like how many seats?…

A: no more than 5 to be safe

Q: Which one would you choose between an 2011 Acura MDX or Audi Q7/Q5?
I was going for the MDX but was alittle disappointed by the little or no exterior changes they did for 2011. Now I’m leaning towards a Audi Q7 or Q5.
Which vehicles would you choose is these were the choices?

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carquotes.fateback.com

Q: What should I name my car? It’s a white Audi q5. I was thinking Colorado for the snow, or Blanca, for white.?
please give me some ideas besides these, and your opinions! thank you

A: Uh u want to name ur car that’s sad

Q: What type of SD card to use in Audi Q5 MMI?? a micro SD, a mini SD or a SD HC?
Audi Q5 MMI queries!

A: sd

Q: What would be better for a single 25 yr old an Audi Q5, A4, Mercedes GLK.?
Should I buy something less expensive? Suggestions? Or should I just go for it and get the A4?

A: The cheapest car to run would be an Audi A4 TDi.

To be honest I’d be asking the question, that as a single 25 year old, why are you looking at “old man in a hat” kind of cars?

Q: Which one is a better buy-a used Audi Q5 or a used Honda CRV?
Same model year.

A: trust me honda, friend bought a brand new audi broke down after 80,000 miles even with all the scheduled maintence, other friend got a honda year 89, miles 300,000+ still running.

Q: How many miles is too many miles for a ford mustang?
I am looking to buy a 1999 ford mustang that is in great condition but the only down side is that the engine has 110,316 miles on it. Is that too many? About how long should this car last?

A: Look at condition a lot more than miles… worst piece of junk I bought because of low miles (23,000) and I also bought one with 185,000 miles that was a good one.

Q: What does a 1965 Ford Mustang with a V6 engine get for Miles per Gallon?
I know the ford mustang didn’t come with a v6 before but I found one that has one. Also do you think its worth to buy a mustang for 5,400?

A: They can get up to 25 mpg with the standard transmission and 22 with the automatic..the engine should be a inline six. it will get less with a v6, but might do better if it has a modern od transmission with it..but if it’s in nice shape it can be worth your price..

Q: What is a good place (OR WEBSITE) where i can get good parts to customize a Ford Mustang?
What is a good place (OR WEBSITE) where i can get good parts to customize a Ford Mustang? That pretty much has everything! THNX!

A: try switchboard.com. look under yellowpages.com.

Q: What year motor fits a 2000 Ford Mustang?
Where can I find if a 2004 ford mustang engine fits a 2000 ford mustang…both cars are v6. The person selling it tells me it does fit but just want to make sure before I buy. Thanks in advance.

A: Mustangs from 1999-2004 all had the 3.8 liter motor with little to no changes in this period. The motors themselves will be interchangeable with little to no modification, but the ECU and some of the sensors/wiring from the newer year car will have to be added to make it run perfectly.
One way to guarantee fitment is too call your Ford dealership or find a Ford technician and ask them what is required to get the motor from the newer model to fit in your older model Mustang.

Hope this helps, Good luck!

Q: Would you recommend a 1999-2004 Ford Mustang for a first car?
I am 16, looking for a cool first car that won’t break down on me. I’m just trying to see if a Mustang is suitable for a first car.
Are they reliable?
Ford has a pretty bad rep, so I’m wondering how reliable they are. Thanks.

A: I use to have a 1965 ford mustang…pretty reliable…u need one

Q: What is the maintenance like for a 1960’s ford mustang?
Im looking to buy a 1960’s ford mustang but i don’t know what to look for and what to expect for regular maintenance. I am looking to spend between $10,000 and $20,000. Any help is appreciated

A: Look for one with a clean, rust-free body. Engine parts are cheaper and easier to find/repair than body parts in most cases.

Regular maintenance is much different than newer cars – one of the biggest differences is that they require attention/maintenance more often than newer cars. Any wear items that are original to the car, or of unknown age (belts, brake pads, filters, spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap & rotor), should be replaced right away.

Here’s a great, in-depth article from Car Craft Magazine on tuning up a classic car:

http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles/ccrp_0903_how_to_do_a_basic_tune_up/index.html

And here is a great article on caring for your car’s paint:

http://ezinearticles.com/?Classic-Car-Care-101&id=1743386

Hope this helps!

Q: Where is the low pressure ac port on a 1996 ford mustang?
Hi, I need some help finding the high and low ports on a 1996 ford mustang. >< some help would be great! :) Thanks!!

A: If you can’t find it under the hood, it COULD be under the car… that’s where it is on the Lincoln LS….

Q: What the difference between an ordianry ford mustang and a……?
What the difference between an ordianry ford mustang and a California Special mustang???

A: There was in those days (late 60’s) no such thing as an ORDINARY Ford Mustang. (The Mustangs were extra-ordinary).

The California Special included fog lights, modified tail lights, and several exterior trim enhancements. (hood scoop, deck stripe, hood pins, fuel door opener, etc)

Q: How do you take off the door panel on a 98 ford mustang?
I am swiching out the stock speakers in a 98 ford mustang, Ive changed the ones on the rear deck, but cant really find out how to take the door panels off so I can get to the front speakers. I know there are supposed to be just clips holding it on, but is there anything more to it? maybe a few screws I cant find?
I heard that the clips break easly, so i dont really want to just pull on the panel its self and break every clip holding it on, unless it comes down to it.

thank you!!

A: I would go the the local Ford dealer and ask the person in service if they would photocopy the service manual pages that show how to remove the door panel.

Q: How do i take out the stock radio in my 2003 Ford Mustang?
How do i take out the stock radio in my 2003 Ford Mustang? i got new radio nut i cant find out how to get the old one out.

A: Your particular vehicle doesn’t use the removal keys mentioned above.

Follow the instructions in this document:

http://documents.victorytechnologies.com//documents/product/816.pdf

Q: How to set the timing on my 91 ford mustang?
i have a 91 ford mustang with a vortech supercharger on it and i think the timing is off and i don’t know what timing marks should i put it at.

A: Use a strobe light set it on 6btdc at 800 rpm road test if it pinks reduce by 2 at a time.
the marks are on pulley and timing case. top mark is 0=tdc

Q: What fuse controls the fan in a 1998 ford mustang?
what number is the fuse that controls the fan by the radiator in a 1998 ford mustang?

A: It will be in the fuse box under the hood. It will say something like RAD FAN or it might be with a few things. If the fans not working it could be the the switch. An easy way to make sure the fan is working is to turn of the AC. Whenever the AC is on the rad fan will come on too. Use this to also test the relay and the switch.
FYI: You also can wire the fan to always run when the car is on by bypassing the switch.
Good luck.

Q: How many miles does the Ford Mustang usually go?
Coming up in a few months i’m going to be buying my first car and I was hoping to get a Ford Mustang, probably the 98-99-2000-2001 models, I was wondering how many miles does it usually go up to before it cant go anymore? So what i’m asking is how many miles till the car usually wont run anymore.

A: the 4.6L v8 last forever 200-300k no problems

Q: How do I drive a 2000 Ford Mustang in the snow?
Does anybody out there have any tips? 2000 Ford Mustang GT (8 cylinder manual transmission)…spins like a top on the snow. Took me an hour and a half to get home from school the other day and I only live 5 minutes away! It was pathetic and really frustrating. If anybody has any tips, I would sure appreciate it! Thank you!

A: let most of the air out of the tires, the low, soft profile will help. plus be very gentle with the throttle, just let it idle

Q: what’s the proper way to race an automatic ford mustang?
I have an automatic 1999 3.8L ford mustang and I was wondering what was the proper way to race it?

A: step on the gas since it’s automatic….. get a v8?

but seriously to race an automatic, you need to hold your brake, and your gas lightly to get your rpm ups. green light, release the brake and your tire will spin and go. then shift to 2nd while oh wait it’s an automatic
